Word count - Prophecy
I reached the point where I don't have the "draft of draft" version of the story. I only have vague ideas written in points for the upcoming chapters. So I got stuck, and there's no way I can successfully move on with the actual draft. So I decided to write a draft of draft now, which might also be called an extended version of ideas.

So basically I'm almost done with chapter four, Lanard and Wolf are found, Ijana learns that she has some magical abilities, though she considers this idea dumb. And I figured out that the dangerous and handsom magician is actually dumb as his ideas, and he'll be told that by his coleague. Ijana gets in "tele-empathical" contact with Wolf, and once the two magis find Echanon and other warriors, and Echanon stops worrying about them, they can finally start saving Ijana. What will make Amos very happy. If they are successfull of course. The battle come tomorrow.

Oh, words! 765, YAY!!!

Double yay! You're doing so much better than me. I have a bunch of cards spread out on my floor, one for each chapter. Notes on each one for all the changes, and even the changes aren't finished. I'm even cheating a little and making the first book shorter by ending it sooner. Although I'm adding more depth in there. The more changes I make, the more changes I make.

Love your characters' names. Of course, there's telepathy in there.

If it makes you fell better, I can assure you that editing is much harder than writing the first draft. :) You have to remember what happens where, and if you change even a little bit it may have unexpected effects on later events, and it all has to be there in your head. Sometimes there just isn't enough room!

But the most important thing is to remember this is your book. Editors are okay, but think twice about each suggestion, don't take it at face value.

And remember to have fun with all this!
