Memememe
First meme as well, and last I'm afraid. They take too much time. ;)

Four jobs I have had in my life:
1. Customer Handling

2. Graphic Designer
3. Architect
4. Town Clerk
But I consider myself a writer, though all the money I ever earned for that are less than I now earn in a month.

Four movies I would watch over and over:
Not good with movies, so I'll change it to:
Four music records I would listen to over and over:
1. Battlestar Galactica Soundtrack. All seasons. Not all the pieces, but many
2. Nigel Kennedy and the Kroke Band "East meets East"
3. all Clannad
4. Simon and Garfunkel "Best of"

Oh! And four books I could read over and over (or rather four series...):
1. Walter Jon Wiliams "Aristoi" - this one is a book actually
2. Orson Scott Card "Ender's Saga" specifically "Xenocyde"
3. Frank Herbert "Dune" and the all that
4. Jacqueline Carey "Kushel's Legacy"

Four Places I have lived
1. Krakow (Cracow) - was born there
2. Kielce - where I grew up
3. Krakow again where I went to Technical University
4. Wilkowice near Bielsko-Biala - a very short, very weird period of my life.
Then back to Kielce where I live now. All in Poland of course.

Four TV Shows that I watch:
1. Battlestar Galactica
2. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
3. Star Trek: Voyager
4. Lost

Four Places I have been:
1. Great Britain (London, Plymouth, Land's End, Giblartar (okay, I'm cheating, I know, but I won't fit Spain in here, so...)
2. Italy (Venice, Florence, Rome, Capri)
3. France (Paris - my honey moon!, Nicea)
4. Czech (Prague, Kadan, Klaszterec, Karlovy Vary)

People who e-mail me and message (regularly):
Heh, I'm not really e-mailing any more. Most of my correspondence goes through comments in people's posts, and them commenting to mine. So...
1. Claire
2. Jessie
3. Silke
4. Helen

Four of my favorite foods
1. Scrambled eggs
2. Bread with cheese and salad
3. Chocolate
4. Boiled eggs

Four places I would rather be right now:
1. where I am, I like it here
2. only doing something else, namely writing, but it's too late and thoughts don't stick
3. asleep in my bed
4. somewhere where it's not so damn cold

Things I am looking forward to this year:
2. Writing "Choices and Chances"
3. Maybe checking if I'm ready to write "Guardians"
4. New season of BSG

Oh wow.. another one!

I've got one saved in a text file on my desktop that someone gave [info]brokenmnemonic that I snerched but haven't read as yet.

Ahh.. so another one... interesting tidbits... thank you for sharing!!

Thanks for sharing! They do take time--but when you're bored, or procrastinating, or just restless, they can be great fun...

I can't remember when I was last bored! Procrastinating or restless - that I am far too often. And here memes don't help! ;)

Great, you posted it too :o)

It seems we have some more things in common than BSG. I too love "Dune"; so far I have only read the first three books, but I'm definitely going to read the rest as well. Have you seen the Hallmarks movies? I liked them a lot.

I also like Clannad. I bought a CD of them once because it had the title song of the british 80's series "Robin of Sherwood" on it which I loved since I was a little kid.

And wow, honeymoon in Paris, that's so romantic. Have you been on the Eifeltower together at night? (I'm full of clichees when it comes to romance LOL).

Yay! You posted! Thanks for sharing.

I like how you changed movies into musics, and added books as well. :) I love BSG soundtrack too, and I listen to them all the time. If hard pressed, I may pick season 3's as my favorite out the four CDs, simply because this season has a dose of Chinese influence in it. Several tracks featured Chinese instrument "Erhu." :o)

I enjoyed Frank Herbert's "Dune" too, although I wouldn't say I'd read it over and over--I'm not that big on Scifi genre in general.

Ahhh... Honeymoon in Paris--how romantic!

And, did I detect an "egg" theme in your list of favorite foods? ;)

Boy, you are really looking forward to write this year! LOL Once I finish with my own WIP, I have to read them!

p.s. You're very beautiful indeed! ;)

Several tracks featured Chinese instrument "Erhu."

Which ones, which ones?

My favorite pice right now is "Gina Escapes", but that's season Two. And I love "Prelude to War", especially the fragments with drums. I think those drums are one of the things I like best about bsg in general.

I am big on SciFi. I might even say I'm HUGE! There are a very few books/movies/shows I like that are not sci-fi. Fact is I can't think of any right now. *headscratch*

Which ones, which ones?
There are two I can think of just on top of my head: 1) the piece from "Take a Break From All Your Worries", titled "Someone you can trust" I believe, and 2) one piece from "Maelstrom", there are 3 pieces from the episode in the collection altogether, I forgot the title to it, but it's the one having to do with "death."

I really like "Erhu". It gives this sad and heart-wrenching sound that just gets under your skin...

If you like "Prelude to War" (which I do too), you must like the piece from "Exodus II" then. I especially loved the brief pause right around the 4+ minute mark, then the loud boom of the beating drums signifies the arrival of Pegasus with her guns blazing--it really sets my pulse racing!

p.s. "Squee!" Love your icon. Can I snatch it?

Musy check those pieces you mentioned. :)

About the icon - it's sweet isn't it? Unfortunatelly I can't remember who made it! But aside from that you can take it of course.

I'm a bit late, but hope you get this anyway. We have things in common, natch, more than BSG. Like, Ender's Game ..., Dune, and Kushiel. Now I've got to check out Aristoi. Have you read "The Sparrow?" . . . or William Gibson or Samuel Delaney or Alice Hoffman (a magical realist) or . . . or . . . .

I write to the BSG soundtrack, and Paul Simon is my all-time favorite songwriter-poet.

My dream to visit Venice and Florence - wander around Italy on a bicycle.

Used to love cheese and wine, but now I'm allergic, also to chocolate - boo.

I also hate the cold, and am stuck here in three feet of snow. Off to the beach in March, though.

Husband has been down with the flu for a week. I sympathize.
