fan-song-picture?  
I don't know how to make fan-vids. But I know how to make pictures. And I have this song stuck in my head, that fits with my interpretation of Lee/Kara thingie. At least untill Season Three . . .
So I deciced to make a few pictures. Something like a song-fic, but not with words, and something like a fan-vid, but motionless.
 
Title: You Don't Know Me (part 1);
Genre: fan-song-picture;
Disclaimers: the characters and the universe of "Battlestar Galactica" don't belong to me. The song "You don't know me" was - I believe - first sung by Ray Charles with Diana Krall, but this was inspired by Michel Buble's version;
Pairing: Lee/Kara;
Spoilers: Seasons One and Two (part one - mini, 33, hand of god);
 
A/N: This may be regarded as one-sided view of the pairing, and perhaps a little unfair to Kara (okay, I admit Lee has his faults too, but I won't elaborate on them). I am a LeeFan, if that explains anything, so please, don't flame :).
 



Now I have a request to you Dear Fans. I'm having trouble with choosing scenes for the next verse: "No, you don't know the one, who dreams of you at night". I need it to be between Hand of God, and Colonial Day... No, seriously I need it to be from something before Colonial Day, that would be enough. So almost all Season One, and I can't find the right scene. Help, please!

I wrote that song-fic a while ago, but was never very satisfied with it.

If only it wasn't taking so long to make them! Writing is much faster ;)

Lovely pictures, and they fit the words very well! You've made me very nostalgic for season one :)
I don't think it's particularly unfair to Kara, I don't think she does know Lee as well as she thinks, he's a very hard person to know.
Hm, a picture for "you don't know the one who dreams of you at night' - does that mean it needs to be Lee pining? How about when he watches her trying to walk with her crutches? She has no idea he's really concerned for her then. Or there might be something from that episode when she's lost on the moon? I'll let you know if further inspiration strikes.

You're a fan of Lee too, so you're biased ;) I think this song might work both ways, because Lee doesn't know Kara either. But I think she takes him for granted more.

Ha-ha-ha :). Yes, I'm afraid so.

I thought about 'searching for Kara lost on the moon' as well, but can't get the right (oh-so meaninfull) caps from that epi. I'll check what you mentioned: him watching her taking 'first steps'. Might be good :). Thanx!
