Fan Fiction - Year of Hell
Another BSG “creative pursuit” – a fanFic. Some of you may already know it from fanfiction.net
Unlike fanArt – which I’m doing for fun only – I'm writing fanFics to learn, and to evolve as a writer. So if anyone has any constructive criticism to offer, I'll accept it with gratitude. It doesn't mean that I don't accept simple and short reviews - any comment makes me very, very happy.
For anyone who haven’t read this story – I started it shortly after season two ended, and in it I tried to explore what might have happened during the Missing Year (including the reasons for the BIG RIFT between Kara and Lee, but not only that). It's a LeeCentric story, but of course other characters make appearances too - there is lots of Kara, Dee all over the place, Bill Adama in later chapters, and even Laura Roslin once. Oh, and Layne Ishay ;).
The main premise that you need to know about, before reading, is that I never believed Lee had gotten over his post-Blackbird suicidal ideation, PTSD, or whatever that was. So the story is mainly about Lee dealing with depression.
I hope I'll manage to post it all before "Unfinished Business". The last chapter is already written, and is being betaed right now.
Which reminds me that the whole story was betaed by AMMONITE7. Never enough of praising her work for me, and actually her own writing as well. She's brilliant.
